The last engine in the lineup is the 5.7L HEMI® V8, which delivers 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque.

When equipped with the standard V6 engine, the Ram 1500 can tow 7,600 lbs and carry 1,880 lbs of payload. The 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 increases the towing capacity to 7,990 lbs, but drops the payload down to 1,600 lbs. The HEMI® V8 engine shows the most in towing with 10,620 lbs and meets drivers in the middle with 1,760 lbs of payload abilities.
