Jeep Gladiator Towing Capacity, Performance & Handling

The Gladiator offers drivers two impressive engine options. The 3.6L Pentastar® V6 comes standard and produces 285 horsepower. It includes either the 8-speed automatic or the 6-speed manual transmission. Drivers have the option to include the 3.0L EcoDiesel V6, which produces 260 horsepower and comes fixed to the 8-speed automatic transmission. When it’s time to haul some materials, or trailer a boat to the lake, the Gladiator can tow up to 7,650 pounds and carry roughly 1,600 pounds of payload.

It wouldn’t be a Jeep if it didn’t include the impressive range of drivetrains. Each Gladiator trim is equipped with heavy-duty Dana® 44 front and rear axles and a commanding 4x4 system designed to turn every road challenge into an easy feat. Available all-terrain tires make the Gladiator an unmatched force on the road.

Rugged Design & Appearance

The Jeep Gladiator is a standout on the road, showcasing a unique and original appearance unlike other pickups, or other Jeeps for that matter. The front half of the Gladiator slightly resembles the Wrangler, with its aggressive fascia, iconic grille, and the hitch hooks. However, once you transition into the back half of the cabin, the new and exciting pickup style takes over. The vehicle includes a spacious cargo bed with the iconic Jeep logo imprinted on the back.

Drivers have plenty of options with the style. The vehicle includes several colors like the Gobi Clear-Coat, Punk’n Metallic Clear-Coat, the Hydro Blue Pearl-Coat, and many more. Drivers even have the option of choosing between vehicle tops with soft tops, hard tops, and even body-color tops for their truck. The Jeep Gladiator interior design seamlessly blends the rugged and the luxury aspects of the vehicle.

Interior Features & Amenities

Drivers can expect to see that always-reliable Uconnect® system within the cabin. The available 8.4-inch Uconnect® 4C NAV system offers 3D maps and graphics to highlight the way to your destination. The vehicle comes standard with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, which integrate your Bluetooth®-paired smartphone into the touchscreen display to give you direct access to your apps, contacts, and media library.
