2021 Gladiator Engine Specs & Performance

The Jeep Gladiator is a powerful and fully capable pickup truck that offers drivers the best of both worlds: the performance of a truck and the rugged trail-blazing abilities of a Jeep. It comes standard with a 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine that boasts 285 horsepower, 260 lb-ft of torque, and the ability to tow up to 7,650 pounds when properly configured.

Drivers can also choose the available 3.0L EcoDiesel V6. This engine is able to generate 260 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. As for towing, it’s capable of pulling up to 6,500 pounds when properly equipped.

Cabin Features & Technology

When it comes to infotainment, you’ll have the choice of up to three different Uconnect® systems. The base system includes plenty of connectivity and access to your media options. The middle Uconnect® system offers a larger touchscreen, while the third system brings with it a built-in navigation system.

These infotainment systems include Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. These systems will actually integrate your phone into the infotainment system. You’ll then be able to access your text messages, apps, contacts, and media library right from the screen without having to pull out your phone!

The 2021 Jeep Gladiator offers two rows of seating that’s enough space for up to five passengers. The front row offers 42.8 inches of headroom and 41.2 inches of legroom. The rear row includes 42.8 inches of headroom and 38.3 inches of legroom.

The Gladiator also offers a cargo bed that measures 60.3 inches long. In terms of storage, this cargo bed includes 35.5 cubic feet of cargo space for your materials.
