Bring Along Everything

2022 Jeep Wagoneer Engine Specs

When it’s time to pack up your SUV for a long week of having fun in the wilderness, you need plenty of room inside and out of your vehicle. Both the 2022 Wagoneer and the 2021 Lincoln Navigator have one engine apiece. While the Navigator’s engine can technically outpower the Wagoneer, the Wagoneer can out-tow the Navigator.

The Navigator can tow up to 8,700 pounds while the Wagoneer can tow up to 10,000 pounds, both when properly equipped. An extra 1,300 pounds of towing power is nothing to scoff at.

What about the inside, you ask? Both are 3-row SUVs and the Navigator has 19.3 cubic feet of cargo volume in the trunk, which can be expanded to 103.3 cubic feet when you fold down all the seats. The Wagoneer, on the other hand, has 27.4 cubic feet of cargo volume in the trunk and a maximum available cargo volume of 116.7 cubic feet.

Keep Everyone Entertained

The road to the campground can get pretty long, so it’s important that you find a way to keep the kids in the back from asking, “Are we there yet?” The 2021 Navigator has a 10-inch screen with SYNC®3 while the 2022 Wagoneer has a 10.1-inch screen with the Uconnect® 5 NAV system. Both offer the following features:

  • Apple CarPlay®
  • Android Auto™
  • Bluetooth® streaming
  • Voice control

Both SUVs offer rear seat entertainment packages, but only the 2022 Wagoneer has an available front-passenger screen. All of the screens can run the same programs simultaneously or everyone can enjoy their own shows at the same time with Amazon Fire TV built-in.

Always Arrive Safely

Jeep Wagoneer Safety Features

While entertainment and bringing along all of your gear are important, the most important thing is getting there safely. Both the 2022 Wagoneer and the 2021 Navigator have several standard safety features, including:

  • Active Lane Management System
  • Blind Spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path Detection
  • Forward Collision Mitigation

To help make the drive to the campground that much easier, the 2022 Wagoneer has standard Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go. This feature allows you to set a speed and follow distance, so your Wagoneer will accelerate and decelerate to match the flow of traffic, even bringing it to a full stop and back to full speed.

This feature is offered on the Navigator, but you’ll be needing a higher trim level.

2022 Wagoneer vs 2021 Lincoln Navigator: Which Is Your Champion?

Both the 2022 Wagoneer and the 2021 Lincoln Navigator would look fantastic in your driveway, but the Wagoneer certainly has some distinct advantages. When you’re ready to give it a test drive for yourself, come and see us at Walker CDJR, happily serving the Hurricane, Charleston, and Huntington, West Virginia, communities. Contact us today!
