About the St. Albans Historical Society
The St. Albans Historical Society was founded in 1972. It helps curate artifacts, memorabilia, and even documents from the earliest days of St. Albans, West Virginia. On top of showcasing a collection from the town’s past, the society also helps ensure that the history of the town remains intact.
The organization was founded to help preserve, restore, and relocate historic places throughout the town. Their goal is to ensure that the future generations of St. Albans have a firm knowledge of their town’s roots and the figures that helped shape it to what it is today.
