The Center has a few distinct programs in place to ensure all residents of the Mountain State get the health care and wellness checks they need.

West Virginia Center for Rural Health DevelopmentSome of these programs include:

  • The West Virginia Immunization Network (WIN): This program ensures all West Virginians—from birth, through adolescence, and into adulthood—receive immunizations for curable diseases. WIN includes more than 400 stakeholders who work to improve immunization rates across the state.
  • West Virginia Rural Health Infrastructure Loan Fund: The West Virginia Rural Health Infrastructure Loan Fund works to make sure the state has a strong healthcare system that’s affordable to all its residents. It also provides hands-on assistance for residents seeking to obtain healthcare plans.
